Engineering Manager – Innovation in Fintech
Location: Flexible/Remote (2-days p/w from home, 3 in office)

This person will be leading teams of highly skilled engineers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where creativity, continuous improvement, and cutting-edge technology are your everyday tools. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you will guide and shape your teams in delivering game-changing solutions for financial services customers globally, all while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture. Your work will go beyond the ordinary – you'll be building tools that financial professionals rely on daily, focusing on infrastructure, security, and reliability, ensuring that the work you do impacts not just your team, but the entire organization.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the development of critical tools for financial services, focusing on innovation in infrastructure, security, and reliability.
- Recruit, mentor, and grow a diverse team of talented engineers.
- Influence and contribute to the wider technology strategy of the company.
- Partner with stakeholders to transform business needs into technical solutions, from design to deployment.
- Collaborate on best practices, setting standards, and championing innovative tech solutions within the organization.
What We’re Looking For:
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years leading technology teams, with a proven track record of managing and developing engineers.
- Technical Expertise: While this is a hands-off role, a background in C++, C#, and Typescript will serve you well. Experience in building infrastructure tools that engineers use daily is a plus.
- Finance Savvy: Knowledge of financial services, particularly FX/IR derivatives, would be highly beneficial.
