Warsaw | Hedge Fund | Hybrid Working

Ncounter is supporting a rapidly growing alternative investment firm as they expand their Warsaw operation. With investment strategies spanning public credit, private credit, structured credit, direct lending and asset-backed finance, this organisation is continuing to invest heavily in its operational and reporting capabilities.

We are seeking an experienced Performance Reporting Manager to take ownership of a critical investor reporting function, working closely with senior stakeholders across Risk, Investments, Investor Relations and Operations. This is a highly visible position where you’ll influence how investment performance is communicated internally and externally, while helping shape the future reporting framework of a growing fund.

The role combines analytical expertise, technical understanding, stakeholder management and process improvement. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of accurate, insightful and timely reporting while driving enhancements to data quality, governance and automation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end performance and investor reporting process
    • Partner with Investment, Risk and Investor Relations teams to define reporting standards
    • Deliver bespoke reporting requests for investors and senior stakeholders
    • Analyse portfolio and performance data, providing meaningful business insights and an understanding of how technology can underpin those solutions (exposure to Python hugely beneficial)
    • Improve reporting controls, governance and data quality frameworks
    • Drive reporting automation initiatives alongside technology teams
    • Manage relationships with external data providers and reporting partners
    • Support the introduction of new products, strategies and reporting methodologies

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience within performance reporting, fund reporting, risk reporting or investment operations
    • Background within asset management, hedge funds, investment management or broader financial services
  • Technical understanding, especially with regards to Python and Data Engineering
    • Strong understanding of data controls, governance and reporting processes
    • Experience working with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex investment data
    • Python experience for data analysis or reporting automation would be advantageous
    • Private credit, structured credit or private markets exposure would be beneficial

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-growth investment firm where reporting is viewed as a strategic function and where your work will directly influence investors, portfolio managers and senior leadership.
