Loans Operations Analyst

Warsaw, Poland, 4 days onsite

Ncounter is supporting a rapidly growing investment firm as they continue to expand their European operations function from their Warsaw office. With ambitious growth plans, significant investment into technology and operations, and a collaborative international culture, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operations professional looking to deepen their exposure within credit and hedge fund environments.

This role sits within a high-performing loans operations team, supporting complex syndicated loan activity across a fast-paced trading environment. You will work closely with Front Office, Legal, Product Control, Finance and external counterparties, helping to ensure accurate processing, reconciliation and settlement activity across the loan lifecycle.

The environment is demanding but highly rewarding, offering strong career progression and exposure to sophisticated financial products within a business that is scaling aggressively across Europe.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage operational activity across syndicated and secondary loan products
• Maintain accurate loan positions, accruals and portfolio records
• Process drawdowns, paydowns, PIK events and funding instructions
• Reconcile cash, accruals and lender positions against counterparties and administrators
• Support settlement activity and monitor trade closing timelines
• Work closely with trading desks and legal teams to resolve operational queries
• Review assignment agreements, trade confirmations and related loan documentation
• Manage and monitor workflows within settlement of syndicated and internal OMS platforms
• Investigate and resolve breaks relating to delayed compensation, cost of carry and settlement activity
• Build strong working relationships with agents, counterparties and internal stakeholders to drive efficient trade execution

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience within syndicated loans or credit operations, ideally in a hedge fund, asset manager or investment banking environment
• Strong understanding of secondary loan operations and settlement processes
• Experience using settlement of syndicated platforms and familiarity with LMA/LSTA documentation standards
• Comfortable working within fast-moving operational environments with multiple priorities
• Strong reconciliation, organisational and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience across loan operations, product control or fund accounting environments would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills and confidence working alongside Front Office teams

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a high-growth investment environment where operations are viewed as a strategic function rather than simply back-office support.
